Peter Borer has led a number of
telecoms organisations in recent years and is the Executive Chairman of Vitesse
Rail Com. He brings widespread market experience, recently having held
appointments as Managing Director – National Network and Carrier Services
Director for Telewest Communications plc.
He has considerable railway
telecommunications experience as founder and Managing Director of British Rail
Telecoms Ltd (BRT) in the start-up period of 1989-1994.
He has wide UK and international experiences in
both telecommunications equipment manufacturing and public network operations
Among his achievements was responsibility for the transition at Kingston
Communications from a municipally owned council department to a public company,
re-equipped with a wholly digital network.
